The vision of the Urban Vegetable Garden Project is driven by the need to provide sustainable ways of feeding the vulnerable in this tough economic climate we are experiencing. We hope to produce enough to supplement our weekly food parcels and help our key community leaders to earn some income from sales at a local vegetable market. This garden will also be a key training hub to transfer skills to our local community, helping them to set up their own gardens at home.
